Square
From 2015-2017 I was an art director and motion graphics artist at Square. I led creative for our in-house production team, working on TV campaigns, video manuals for products, content for social, and content for the Square website.
Why Square?
In 2015 I art directed this spot for Square, designing the visual style and all the elements in the spot, and working on-set on the production of the video (which was part of a three-video series). I also did all of the post-production work on the series. The aesthetic I developed for this video became the foundation for all of Square’s video content for years to come.
Square TV Campaign
Based off the look set in the “Why Square” series, we created four 30 second TV spots, which use playful visual metaphors to tell business owners how Square’s products and services could make their lives a little easier. I also art directed, designed, and did post-production on this campaign.
Careers Page
I worked with Square’s web team to create the imagery for the careers section of the website, using children’s mind puzzles as a playful metaphor for each of Square’s departments.
